There are two ways hot water can be circulated from a SolarCopper panel to the hot water cylinder.


Thermosyphon Gravity Feed
Design a new house for this and enjoy solar
hot water all year round.
A wetback stove or a gas
califont can be used to top
up the hot water in
winter when solar
temperatures
are low.

 

 
Pumped System
This system is easy to install into an
existing home. It requires a pump
kit (230V A C or DC pump).

The A C pump can also
use mains power for
frost protection.

  • Toughened Glass front and high temp insulated backing of glass wool/foil.

  • Kitset also includes pipe connectors and safety steam/air vent made of brass.

Extruded aluminium frame, anodised .nish. Mounting rail full length to locate fixing clamps. Optional 304 stainless steel roof stand. Tempered 4mm glass front, easy to keep clean. EDPM rubber seals and silicone. Back is insulated with foil and special hightemperature glass wool rated to 150°C.

Environmentally friendly renewable energy.Lead, CFC and polyurethane free. All materials can be recycled.

The copper, alloy, glass and rubber are all long-life building materials. Our six plus four year warranty is the best in New Zealand, The SolarCopper should have a similar life to aluminium windows.

 
Options
 

A mains pressure SolarCopper system is available, rated for a maximum
pressure of 500kPa. The mains pressure system uses different in-out .ttings.
Warranty: six years.

This type of construction and materials is the longest lasting and lowest maintenance Same design lifespan as Aluminium windows. 5 year warranty.
OK for all for mains pressure systems- use 500kPa limiting valve.
In Frost zone must use freeze protection.
